NEW TESTING EQUIPMENT - FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROMETER (FTIR) WAS PUT IN USE.

The newly purchased FTIR by ThermoFisher was put into use in our Lab. Infra-red spectrum (IR spectrum) identifies the types of functional groups that are present within a molecule and its compound. It defines the structure of the organic compounds by analyzing characteristic spectrum and fingerprint region.

ATR coupled with iZ10 for large sampling accessory optical table (Smart iTR diamond sampling accessory, Smart iTR Germanium crystal panel) can obtain the structure information of the organic principle on the sample surface from the reflection signal. The instrument has outstanding characteristics including easy sampling, no destructive effect, flexible sample size and shape, in-situ-test with high sensitivity and so on. It enables FNCtech to identify the type of rubber and the raw materials effectively through the analysis of IR spectrum database and the functional groups.

The additional iN10 Infrared Microscope can test small samples up to 10 micron. Our lab can checkup tiny foreign materials among the rubber which helps the R&D and production effectively.
